At Smile Clinic – Dental Holiday we offer pain-free dentistry for all our patients. Recently we had a patient – young Lukas come to our Bratislava clinic hoping for a miracle. He hasn’t been to dentist for more than 7 years and his teeth were in a bad condition, especially the teeth in his lower jaw. As you can see on his 1st X-ray, his upper jaw needed a major dental treatment as well:
Lukas had his initial consultation appointment with doctor Martin from Smile Clinic Bratislava. The doctor made him a treatment plan: 12 dental implants, gum recounting and sinus lift + 16 dental crowns. Also, three of his teeth needed endodontic treatment (root canal treatment).
On the day of surgery, our dental surgeon and implantologist Dr.Martin started the treatment with extraction of his tooth n. 27 (UL7) from his upper jaw. He made a sinus lift and started the upper jaw implantation – the doctor put 5 dental implants (number 12, 22, 24, 26 and 27) into his bone. His lower jaw needed gum recounting and after the doctor done this, he implanted 7 more dental implants (47, 46, 44, 34, 36, 37, 32). On the same day as the surgery took part, we made a custom-made provisional implant abutments and temporary crowns for Lukas. They keep fresh implants safe at place and help the healing process. All root canal treatments were done several days after the implantation.

We continued with the treatment after 4,5 months. This time was needed to get Lukas’ implants healed completely. On this visit we prepared Lukas’ natural teeth for dental crowns and the doctor took the impressions. Thanks to the impressions our dental technicians are able to prepare Lukas’ final dental crowns.
