One of our patients, Alena, booked a personal consultation with one of our doctors via e-mail. She wanted to get her teeth fixed in Smile Clinic Piešťany. We found an available time slot for her treatment in the clinic’s diary in just one week after the consultation. Our surgeon had to extract tooth 14 and tooth 16 in her upper jaw. During the same visit, Dr. Marek made a bone graft so the dental implants will be fixed properly and safely to patient’s jaw. After these steps he started the surgical implantation – in upper jaw he put in implants number 12, 14, 16, 17 and 25. In lower jaw- 34, 35, 37, 43 and 45. We made custom-made provisional implant abutments for Mrs. Alena that keep fresh implants safe in place and help with healing.

We can start with the final phase of the treatment right after the successful healing of dental implants – which is usually in 3 months after the implantation. After provisional abutments were removed we prepared Mrs. Alena’s natural teeth for dental crowns (upper jaw 11, 21, 22, 23 a 24, lower jaw 42, 41, 31, 32 a 33), and the doctor took the impressions. Thanks to the impressions our dental technicians we able to make final dental crowns. We have the dental laboratory directly in our Piešťany clinic so dental technicians and doctors can collaborate to achieve perfect results for every patient.
