Dr. Marek and I had the privilege to attend the annual conference of BACD (British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry) last week, as we do each year. It was held in Edinburgh, which we found to be a lovely and warm-hearted city despite the harsh weather.
Not only was the conference a great opportunity to learn about the latest developments in modern cosmetic and restorative dentistry, but also to meet fellow UK private dentists who are trying provide the best dental services they can, just like us – however we do it for up to 70% less than then prices they charge in their dental clinics. However, from our return flight with Ryanair we endured what must be a tough journey for many of our patients. This started from the taxi driver to the airport who ripped us off, the long queues, problems with the small baggage regulations, the crowded airplane, constantly being sold merchandise throughout the entire visit etc… I’m sure you know what I mean. We at Dental Holiday believe that travelling abroad for dental treatment shouldn’t be something to endure, but really something to look forward to instead. While we can’t change much about Ryanair, and are thankful that they do offer cheap flights for our patients to Bratislava, we will do our best to make sure that your time with us is low-cost and excellent. You’ll be met by our friendly driver, Dano who will take you directly to our dental clinic or to your accommodation. If by any chance they are delayed in traffic, please feel free to get a cup of tea or coffee on us and the driver will settle the bill when he picks you up.
In the dental clinic you can kick back and relax in our reception area, and one of the girls, Monika or Denisa will make you tea and you can watch some telly, flick through our tourist books, magazines, or check your emails and Facebook with our free Internet point.
If you need anything, simply ask. We’re here to make everything around your dental treatment abroad flow as smoothly as possible.
We look forward to having you with us,
Daniel Shaw – Co-Founder of Dental Holiday and patient manager.
p.s. Our patients tell us that booking 7 weeks in advance is the cheapest option and knowing that the prices change every Tuesday and Thursday at 8am, so make sure you get up early on those days to book your flight for your dentistry abroad.
